Today I have had two different errors with PowerBI Desktop and refresh. This error is connecting to MySQL. The refresh works on every query individually, but fails on the refresh. These failures do not happen to the same query each time it changes. This is production data so really need to get this running:
From the error shown and the table it appears that there is an issue with the ClusterMemoryUsage table. I am not sure if this is an actual table that is being loaded, or if that is potentially an actual issue with the Memory on the MySQL cluster?
If the error is due to a Memory error on the cluster, that would be consistant with the refreshing failing on different tables each time.
What you could possibly do, is go into the Options for your Power BI Desktop file and untick Enable parallel loading of tables, which will then let them be loaded individually?
