PowerBI DataFormat.Error:

Hey everyone,

I am getting really frustrated with this error. 

I am using the contoso sales database and at the start there wasn't a single error, but then sunddenly this one started to pop what can i do about this?

I don't even know where this first origin came from the "c:\users\owend\documents\contososalesv31_64bit.accdb"...

Based on the screenshots you provided, You are now trying to use Power Query to manipulate the table in Power BI, but the screenshot says that the format is incorrect. Your issue appears to be above the data source settings. Have you changed your data source path?or is your access restricted?You should update your data source credentials or data source path. In addition, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:
1. Make sure that your Contoso Corporation.pbix file is not corrupted and that the columns are formatted correctly.
2. If you have access to a different computer, then you can try to open the "Contoso Corporation.pbix" file there. This can help you determine if the problem is related to your computer or to the file itself.
3. If you are not the creator of this PBIX file, you can try to contact them to get more information about the file format and how to open it properly.

I appreciate your help but I still couldn't solve the problem. I am going to show the errors in English:

DataFormat.Error: Unrecognized database format 'Contoso Corporation.pbix'. Details: Contoso Corporation.pbix

DataFormat.Error: ContosoSalesV31_64bit.accdb' is not a valid path. Make sure the path is written correctly and that you are connected to the server where the file resides.
Details:
ContosoSalesV31_64bit.accdb

I think it doesn't have to do with the creator only because I opened it and worked on it for some time without any problems. The only two things I did that I didn't want to do was remove 2 columns from the database tables, but I don't think that is a stress for Power BI. This is a school project that I have to send for today.

Thank you very much for your reply. As the error message says, ContosoSalesV31_64bit.accdb' is not a valid path. You should update the path of this file in your Datasource setting. This file should be one of your PBIX data sources, and this error will be reported when Power BI can't read your data：

At the same time, you mentioned that it used to work for a while. Have you tried to open this PBIX in Power Query during your working hours? In addition, I saw that your Datasource setting has a data source path of c/***/contoso.pbix. A PBIX file should not be a data source.

This is the error: DataFormat.Error: Unrecognized database format 'Contoso Corporation.pbix'. Details: The reason why Contoso Corporation.pbix appeared. You have set up a PBIX file as the data source, which is incorrect. A PBIX file is a report and visualization file, not a data source, and can't be imported into Power BI as a data source.
