Hi,

Is there a way to change th font size or background colour of the page name navigation on the left side of the Power BI App?

Yes, that is only increasing the pane width.

Hi @Anonymous 

Change the "App Theme Color", to change the background colour of the page name navigation.

Click on the Update App, on the Setup tab, select App Theme Color".

thanks @VahidDM , that is for the App, I meant the Apps page name formatting, how to increase the size of the page name of an App.
