Power bi dynamic custom dates create with slicers which hits the source database

in power bi can i put custom slicer in reports so that while user changes the set of dates it should go and actually hit the database in the source side and then filter the date based upon set of dates selected.@

Hi @Abhishek19 Custom date slicers in Power BI that query the source database directly (using DirectQuery mode)

Set Up Your Data Source in DirectQuery Mode

example: create a date table as follows and establish a relationship with your existing source in model view

DateTable =
ADDCOLUMNS (
CALENDAR (DATE(2020, 1, 1), DATE(2025, 12, 31)),
"Year", YEAR([Date]),
"Month", FORMAT([Date], "MMMM"),
"Month Number", MONTH([Date]),
"Quarter", "Q" & QUARTER([Date]),
"Weekday", FORMAT([Date], "dddd")
)

Check if the above solution for with slicer functionality works.
