Power bi data automation | cosmos db

I have a power bi report which has one main table in the landing page and another table in the drill through page. I am fetching data from cosmos db. I have a table in the main page where I have implemented custom column selection , that is when user makes a coulmn selection from the slicer those Columns will get reflected in the table. I have implemented this using field parameter. Requirement is in case new columns are get added into database in the future that should get automatically reflected here. But in field parameters we have to enter it manually. Is there any other option in which i can implement this feature so that data which is gonna get updated in the near future will show in the slicer as well as the table.

Hi @kichu123 ,

For this you need to use the dynamic field parameter approach. Check the video below with the explanations. I have implemented this with a Excel spreadsheet but you can get the information in any format so if you get a table in cosmos DB with the column names you can then automate this.
