Power app usage report in power bi

Hi Team,

So there is an app which is created in power apps. I need to create a dynamic report in power bi showing the usage related stats of the app. I am unable to get the data in power bi. Could you please confirm how can I bring power app usage data in power bi? I tried a lot to search but couldn't get success. My app's data is stored in dataverse but i could not get system tables which can give me the detailed data. Please assist

Hi @KKK ,
To create a dynamic Power BI report showing Power App usage statistics, the key is accessing telemetry or audit data that tracks app interactions—however, this information isn't directly exposed through standard Dataverse tables. While your app's data may be stored in Dataverse, usage metrics like who opened the app, when, and how often are typically found in Microsoft Power Platform Admin Center or Office 365 Audit Logs, not within the regular tables you can pull from in Power BI. To access this in Power BI, you can enable Audit Logging in the Microsoft Purview Compliance Portal, then use the Office 365 Management Activity API or export logs and load them into Power BI.

Alternatively, if you're an admin, you can access Power Platform Analytics through the Admin Center, which includes environment-level app usage stats, and export that data. Unfortunately, these system tables aren’t visible in Dataverse via standard connectors unless you have the correct environment roles and API access. For detailed tracking, you may also consider adding custom logging within your Power App to write user interactions to a Dataverse or SharePoint table that Power BI can read easily.
