Another noob question.
My source data is ugly and I end up doing a lot of "replace values" . For example, sometimes a person's name includes a middle initial, and sometimes the same name does not. So I end up making one match the other.
The question is , is it better to do this in power query or with dax once the data is loaded ?
thanks for the help.

Hi, @Flexx
It is generally recommended to clean data in PowerQuery, such as the replacement of some dirty data.
Dax is biased towards the summary and analysis of data.
