Power Query moving value to the next period in custom column

Hi,

I have week closing inventory in a table. For calculation purpose, I want to have another column named week opening inventory which will pick the previous periods closing inventory for same SKU. Can anyone suggest the best way to do it? I would love to know the way both in query and dax.

HI @Anonymous,

The simply way is reference previous steps table and add filter condition(same SKU and date greater than current date), then extract data list from filtered result table and use list function to get the min date.

After above steps, you will get the next period date you wanted.
