Power Query IF statement

Hi All,

How would I write this as a custom column?...

I have a table called Fruit and need the following...

FruitIFStatement= IF(ISBLANK('Fruit'[Apple]),'Fruit'[Pineapple], 'Fruit'[Pear])

Any help would be greatly appreciated! 😊

Try:

IF TEXT.LENGTH([Apple])=0 THEN [Pineapple] ELSE [Pear]

or

IF [Apple] & "" = "" THEN [Pineapple] ELSE [Pear]
