Hi, anyone else come across the issue of the Power Query Editor record view not matching the Detail view? Below you can clearly see that the Nickname field shows in the record but not in the details.
Record data vs. Detail mismatch
execute refresh preview and make sure there are no special characters like "new line"
I have executed multiple refreshes for preview and all with no change. Also the nickName field is a single line text filed that does not allow new lines, but also does not have special characters. If this were the case, would it not also affect the actual record value anyway?
Hi @Juliecal73 ,
I did some test but didn't meet this issue. What's your Desktop version? What data source you are using? Try update to the latest version and check if this issue exists in other records/datasource/pbix.file.
In addition, you could check the Issues forum here:
https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Issues/idb-p/Issues
If it is not there, you could post it.
Best Regards,
Jay

Hi v-jayw-msft,
Version is current, and I have also not seen this with anything else, very weird.
My data source is an SQL data set and this does not appear to be happening with any of the others or with any other fields.
It's obviously not a showstopper, but I'll check the Issues Forum, thanks.
