Hi! I embedded a PowerBI page into a PowerPoint presentation and shared the PowerPoint. However, the Power BI can't be accessed within the PowerPoint and it must be opened separately by other viewers. Is it possible to make the Power BI page viewable and accessible by others within a PowerPoint after the PowerPoint is shared with them?
Solved! Go to Solution.
I think this page details how to add a report to Powerpoint: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/collaborate-share/service-power-bi-powerpoint-add-in-inst...
The one thing that i'd make sure of is that the viewers that you're looking to share with have been given permission to both the report and the underlying dataset. This requires that either you / your organisation has powerBI premium, or that your viewers have at least powerBI Pro. (Or that you've published to public view, which might not allowed / possible depening on data security)
Thank you so much for your input! Is there any way that I can share a Power BI file or embed it within a shared PowerPoint and make it interactive and viewable to others without having a premium or pro account other than publishing it to public?
