Hello Community,
We are using Big Query as our DW and pull the data into Power BI.
We have an issue where whenever our backend devs spin up a new project, PBI throws an error. This is despite me not querying or using the new project. I believe because PBI can read that all of the projects exists, my access rights defaults to the lowest avalilable rights.
Is there a way where our devs can spin up new projects, without assigning me BigQuery bigquery.jobs.create and bigquery.read.session.user to every single new project?
Right now, our PBI refresh breaks until I can locate the relevant dev and get them to give me those permissions.
Alternatively, if there is something I can do from Power BI which will lock down the specifc project I am looking for. In the connection pane in Power Query I am typing in the specifc project I am looking for.
Here is the error message:
Error happens both in service and in desktop.
