I am encountering an issue with a Power BI dashboard that retrieves data from Dynamics 365 Business Central (on-premises) via an OData connection. After publishing the dashboard and setting up a daily refresh, the refresh process consistently fails with the following error message: DataSource.Error: OData: Unable to read data from the transport connection: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.
Hi @Serenge -you're encountering is often related to network issues, security settings, or limitations on the server side. Check for any intermittent network connectivity issues that could be causing the connection to drop. if the server hosting Dynamics 365 Business Central has sufficient resources (CPU, RAM, etc.) to handle the data refresh requests.server logs to identify any performance bottlenecks or errors that coincide with the data refresh attempts.
