I am getting a Power BI error message when attempting to refresh, "web.contents failed to get contents from SharePoint".
My reports just got fixed with the June 2023 update, worked for about a week, and now I am back to the same type of data refresh issue that I was previously facing. Power BI is not wanting to upload our data from Share Point anymore for some reason. I changed nothing in my reports after them functioning smoothly for over a year, and then all of a sudden they will no longer refresh.
Clearing permissions and everything else I have tried has not resolved this issue.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to resolve this issue?
When this happenes to me, this is usually because something in the original sharepoint file has changed - e.g. someone added a new column, there's a value of the wrong type in one of the columns. I suggest going back to the source file on sharepoint and trying to figure out where the problematic cell(s) are.
