Power BI embedded - Parameters

Hi guys,

is it possible to use Power BI embedded service with power bi parameters?

Let's say I need to integrate POWER BI reports in my website and I have report that should be filtered based on the parameter value...(Similar to SSRS parameters functionality)...

Is it possible to invoke report by url, passing parameter value so potentially every request would give me different results if parameter value is different?

Thanks,

Enes

@Encilo

Power BI Embedded does not support parameters yet but you can pass in one additional filter value on the embed URL when you render the IFrame like below.

report.EmbedUrl = report.EmbedUrl + "&$filter=table/column eq 'value'";

However, only one filter is supported in the URL currently. If you need to pass multiple filters in the URL, please vote this idea.

Regards

I have tried with applying filter like below,but the filter is not affecting the Reports

var embed_UR2 = 'https://app.powerbi.com/reportEmbed?reportId=' + report_ID2;
embed_UR2 = embed_UR2 + "&$filter=EnrollmentDbrd/Year eq '2016'";

Those are the REST format access of reports and yes the filters work there, but the embeded has different format and I tried passing filters which never worked.
