I have a pbix file saved in a Team folder. When I work on it on my computer in the office and save the changes are visible later when I open that file and work on it on my work computer from home. However, when I open that pbix file on my work laptop make changes and save, later when I come into the office, the file in Teams will say last updated at the correct time, but then when I go to open the actual file none of the changes have been saved and the version history says it is the version from the last time I worked on it on my desktop in the office. Even when I go and try to open the file directly on Sharepoint, as long as I am doing it from my desktop it keeps showing the wrong old version. If I then go and reopen the same file on my laptop while I am in the office on the same network, the correct newer version is there with all my changes. I tested saving it again in the office from my laptop, it shows that the Teams instantly reflects that I saved again on my laptop, but then when I actually open the file on my desktop it is still giving me the old version without my changes. I need to have version history integrity across my devices and I need to make sure that if I try to press the sync button that the direction of the sync will go the way I need.

Hi,@guimeldc I am glad to help you.
According to your description, you are experiencing an issue with pbix files not being synchronized after saving them in a shared folder in teams. This could be due to issues such as network latency or browser caching, and there is no way to keep it synchronized in a timely manner.
I recommend you to upload the files on OneDrive, the cloud service that ensures better data synchronization as well as data security.
You only need to save the files to OneDrive when you save them on Power BI desktop, if there are files with the same name, you can replace them or rename the new files to avoid renaming.
Here is the official documentation to help you.
