Hi All,
There is report called Ledger report in old D365 system which runs daily and my customer receives an email of this report.
My custome wants the same report in Power BI, he has given me access to the database, I tried 2 methods
1) I have developed a code similar to the source code in SQL and imported into Power BI.This method is giving me performance issues as its huge volume of data its running for very long time.
2) I tried to import the tables and created relationship between them but there are left outer joins in code which I am not able to implement in this method
Please suggest me how can I implement this requirement.
Thanks & Regards,
Neelofer Shama
There are many ways to do this.
- Use the ETL function of power BI
- Create views on the customer database to prepare and limt the data
- Copy the data to your own database and do you data manipulation there
