Power BI Substring DAX

How Can I achieve COLUMN2 using DAX? Columns2 out is to show the characters before '-' from Column1

Try this as new calculated column in your table

 

Column =
LEFT ( Table1[COLUMN1]; FIND ( "-"; Table1[COLUMN1] ) - 1 )
