Hi,

As per our understanding you want to change the setting of the slicer to display the years in a grid format

  1. Select the Slicer: Click on the slicer visual in your Power BI report.
  2. Change the Orientation:
    • In the Visualizations pane, go to the Format tab (paint roller icon).
    • Look for the Orientation setting under the General section.
    • Change the orientation from Vertical to Horizontal.
  3. Adjust the Number of Columns:
    • In the same Format tab, look for the Items section.
    • Find the Number of columns setting and adjust it to match the number of columns you want (e.g., 5 columns for the years 2020 to 2024).
  4. Resize the Slicer:
    • You may need to resize the slicer to fit the new layout. Drag the corners of the slicer to adjust its size.
  5. Sort the Years:
    • Ensure that the years are sorted correctly. You can sort them in ascending or descending order by clicking on the More options (three dots) in the slicer and selecting Sort ascending or Sort descending.

Thanks!
