Power BI Scheduled Refresh Error: Data source errorThe 'BU-BL' column does not exist in the rowset.

Dear Community,

after getting this error, I noticed the owner of the original table in Sharepoint to which my Power BI data model is linked has deleted the column with name 'BU-BL'. So, I just edied my DAX codes in Power BI desktop by deleting the column name 'BU-BL' from the code. Then, I republished my Power BI report to my workspace, replacing the one with the error. However, my scheduled refresh is still having the same error message. Please, can anyone help? Thank you.

Hello @Anonymous ,

also check power query, it may be referenced in any step and this would also make an error.

Hello @Idrissshatila

yes, I checked power query and edited the DAX code in power query. I made sure all the queries finished without an error. All the queries that indicated the error also mentioned the 'BU-BL' column no longer exists, which I deleted. However, the scheduled refresh is still showing the error message, but the power query has no error.

@Anonymous ,

did you publish this new edited power bi file to replace the old one ?

yes, I replaced the old one. That did not yelp. Then, I deleted completely from the workspace and published again, without any replacement. Still, no difference in the error message.

@Anonymous ,

did you try to refresh it from desktop ? and it did refresh normally?

the refresh from the Desktop works when I do it manually. The scheduled refresh from the wrokspace ends with the error.

@Anonymous ,

try to reset the gateway.

I have not installed any Gateway. The original data is available on SharePoint.

@Anonymous , and you've checked sharepoint and the column it's missing there.
