I want to create a Power BI Report where a user can search on multiple fields as an OR not an AND.
e.g. see xls below
Want to be able to search from the Report View:
Birthdate before 10/1/2004 - OR
ApplDate before 4/1/2021 - OR
CloseDate = 8/18/2021
Results for the above =
Rows 2, 3, 6, & 5

Hi @CharlotteCity12 ,
Please try measure like this:
Flag =
IF (
SELECTEDVALUE ( 'Table'[BirthDate] ) < DATE ( 2004, 10, 1 )
|| SELECTEDVALUE ( 'Table'[ApplDate] ) < DATE ( 2021, 4, 1 )
|| SELECTEDVALUE ( 'Table'[CloseDate] ) = DATE ( 2021, 8, 18 ),
"Y",
"N"
)
then drag the measure into visual level filter, you will get the result below.
A sample PBIX. for your reference is attached.
Hope it helps,
