Power BI Report Builder not showing Blanks when the report is ran

Hi,

Please could any one help.

We are creating a paginated report and few fields are added as parameters. When we try execute the query in query designer, the blank values are showing.

When we close the query designer and run the report, it will not show these blank values. There is one field which is causing this trouble. When this field is added to the parameters, blanks values will not show for it as well as other parameter fields as well.

Sample data below:

• Each column has blank values
• When field 2, 3, 4, 5 are added as parameters, when we run the report, we could see the blanks in the parameter filter dropdown and it would be cascased accordingly
• When field 1 is added in to the parameter, blanks will not show for the parameters with fields 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. 
  • Field 1 will not show blank and will show only ABCD
  • When ABCD is selected, it will only show qwe and zxc in field 2 parameter
  • If we select all in field 2, then we could see only asd and jkl under field 3 parameter
  • if we select all or any of the values from field 3 parameter, Field 4 parameter will not show anything in the drop down
  • as we are not able to see or select anything from field 4, field 5 parameter will not load 

The check box for show blank values and multivalues is enabled for all the parameters.

The report builder is connected to a dataset for which the source is SAP HANA. We create all the reports by connecitng to this dataset.

The latest version (15.7.01678.0001) of the report builder is having a bug and hence this is happending. If we use the previous version, this issue would be resolved

Still the same issue is occuring for me now is the issue still not adressed.. or please suggest me a solution for this.. how to get the previous version of report builder.

Hi, @Vinod_V_12 

You mean all the other parameters are working and only parameter 4 is not working as expected, is that right? I think it has something to do with your parameter Setting. Check your parameter Setting.
