Power BI Mobile layout is not working for the Public Link

Hi,

I have a Power BI report that is "published to web". The mobile layout only works, when viewed in PowerBI Mobile app.

And app view resets the background of the page to white color, eventhough I have set a different background color/image.

I could find an old post regarding this, my test results are exactly like the one mentioned in this post. I want to know if there is any options available to display a report published to web with a mobile layout.

Hi @meeradominic ,

The phone layout only works on the Power BI app not for the a link that you share and see on a browser, if it's on a cell phone if you are using the public link you get the normal view and not the mobile view.

Unfortunately, Miguel is correct. Power BI Mobile Layout is not for web browsers, according to this article (About mobile-optimized Power BI reports).
