I have a Power BI Matrix below. It has 2 measures - Main Measure (a simple sum) and a Variance Measure.
It has a column group called Category, which has 2 values - Category A and Category B.
The Variance Measure is the subtraction of the Main Measure values between Category A and Category B, for corresponding time periods.
For example, Main Measure value of 2020 Q1 for Category B is subtracted from the Main Measure value of 2020 Q1 for Category A. The result is the Variance Measure for 2020 Q1.
The Variance Measure for 2020 Q1 is the same, regardless of the Category. (Obviously!)
Hence you see the Variance Measure repeated in Category B, for corresponding time periods.
Is there any way, I can remove the 3 columns on the right side (Variance Measure columns for Category B), which are cross-marked?
In other words, the Variance Measure should be displayed only for Category A.
Any technique to hide/remove these three columns?
@snph1777 , I doubt that is possible. There are a few approaches discussed to have hybrid display. check if those can help
