Hello,
Mine is a simple, but important doubt (at least for my applicattion).
Is there a practical limitation on how many DAX measures we can use in a PBI report? I ask because we do have a report that have at least 100 DAX measures, most of them are used as support to other DAX measures, but I think they all consume some of the report. And also, the file is already at 30MB.
Another reason for me to ask, is that we'll probably need at least some more measures to be made in order to get the report fully working.
Thank you!

Hi @Anonymous ! There is no inherent limit on the number of DAX measures that can be used in a Power BI report. However, using a large number of measures can make the report more complex and difficult to manage, which can affect performance and make the report more difficult to use/manage/debug. Therefore, it is generally recommended to use a reasonable number of measures in a Power BI report and to carefully consider the need for each measure before including it. Most of the times, an excessive amount of measures in a model may indicate that the report needs to be simplified - when I say simplified it can be simply splitting the report into multiple smaller reports each focusing on different approaches. There is a motto in PBI that I think is almost mandotory for every developer which is "Less is more".
There are several reasons why it is important to keep a Power BI report simple:
In general, it is best practice to minimize the complexity of a Power BI report and only include the elements and measures that are necessary to effectively convey the desired information to the user.
So please consider and check if every measure is needed and if I can split the report into multiple simpler reports to improve manageability and reduce complexity.
Hope this answer solves your problem!
