Power BI Embedded

Hi ,

We want to embed Power BI into our aplication and want to give read only access to the users. The users should not be able to edit the reports we created for them but should be able to export the data. Also we want restriction on export based on the user. Is this possible? 

I am confused whether we can restrict users to exxport based on different workspaces

Hi @akshaydz ,

Nope, export feature requirement edit features.

If you'd like to see the data that is used to create a visualization, you can display that data in Power BI or export that data to Excel as an .xlsx or .csv file. The option to export the data requires a Pro or Premium license and edit permissions to the dataset and report.

You can enable RLS based on username, after you dispatch roles to users, they will export filtered data.
