Power BI-Direct Query not working

Hi,

I have power BI Desktop 64 Bit installed and had Oracle 11g client installed orginally. For Direct query to work I installed Oracle12c Client 64bit. I gave the Oracle 12c Home in path and TNS Admin configured for it yet Power BI Direct query does not work. I get the below message when I try connecting to Oracle DB. Please advise.

Please check if the bit version of ODAC matched power bi desktop.

• For 32-bit versions of Power BI Desktop, use the following link to download and install the 32-bit Oracle client:

  • 32-bit Oracle Data Access Components (ODAC) with Oracle Developer Tools for Visual Studio (12.1.0.2.4)

  For 64-bit versions of Power BI Desktop, use the following link to download and install the 64-bit Oracle client:

  • 64-bit ODAC 12c Release 4 (12.1.0.2.4) for Windows x64
