Power BI Desktop not refreshing when the sources(Local Excel) are not open

Hi Everyone,

I'm new by Power BI and I have a silly problem. My dashboard won't refresh when i press refresh if the sources(which are located in local as Excel(xlsx)) are not open. Whenever I refresh it when the sources are not open, I get some errors like "Column ... is not found". But when I refresh it when all the sources are open, I don't get any errors.

Does anyone now why I'm getting these?

Hi again,

I solved it by removing the "text wraps" from the excel files. Now refresh works without opening the excel file on the back.
