Power BI Desktop integration to Web Application

Hi,

Can I create power BI report from my dot net web application ? I mean I don't want to create report from power BI desktop or online power BI service. I want to create power BI report from my web application.

Hi sunil01,

As I know, there is no extension in VS to create powerbi report, we only could embed the existing report in web application. You could refer to Tutorial: Embed Power BI content into an application for your customers for details.

Thanks for your reply. It is helpful information for me.

You specified about Visual Studio extension. But I want to know that is there any API or Js file or framework which can help to build Power BI desktop like environment in web application? I am asking because power bi online service itself is an web application and there we can create preport or can do other operations like power bi desktop.
