PBI Desktop Application Error

Hi everyone I am Vitor,

I'm experiencing a strange issue with Power BI Desktop that started unexpectedly this past Saturday (21/08/2026)

This BI report has been running normally for a long time, and the refresh process is part of our routine daily update. No major changes were made to the data source, queries, or report structure before the issue started.

When I click Refresh, Power BI Desktop crashes and displays the following errors:

  • PBIDesktop.exe - Application Error
    • Unknown software exception (0xe0434352)
  • WebView2 error
    • "This page is having a problem"
    • Error code: Out of Memory

The report opens successfully, and all pages can be accessed normally. The problem only occurs when I start the refresh process.

Antbody Could advice me on what to do?

PS. I've cleaned the Cache memory of BI, same as I clear the temp data from computer, and I still have good memory in computer and onedrive.

    Try out below options -
    1. Uninstall Power BI Desktop and re-install with the latest version.
    2. Open the PBIX file and try to refresh the data model. This should fix your issue. If not, check below troubleshoot steps.
    3. Go to Power Query > Disable load all the tables you have and have any 1 table loaded and try refreshing.
    4. Do this for all the tables by enabling the tables one by one. This will identify which table refresh is causing the issue.
    5. If all tables get loaded successfully, add relevant relationships one by one and refresh the data model and check.
