Hi matdub40
Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Fabric Community Forum.
We are following up regarding your recent query on the issue encountered while exporting data from Power BI Desktop. We have not yet received a response and wanted to check whether the problem has been resolved with the March 2025 update of Power BI Desktop. As highlighted by bob6636 , several users faced the same issue with the February 2025 version. Many confirmed that reverting to an earlier version of Power BI Desktop temporarily restored the export functionality. Others reported that the issue was resolved after installing the March 2025 release, where Microsoft addressed this known bug.
If your issue has been resolved by the update or another workaround, please share your solution in the thread to assist other members facing similar challenges. If the issue persists, consider rolling back to a previous version temporarily, as suggested by the community, until a permanent fix is confirmed. Microsoft is aware of the issue and is prioritizing a resolution.Lastly, if you found the response helpful, please consider marking it as the Accepted Solution and giving it a kudos. This helps others in the community identify useful responses more easily.
Thank You!
matdub40 I can't recreate that issue on my system. That said, the February 2025 version of Power BI Desktop has been a buggy mess in my opinion. I've had a lot of "quirky" issues with it.
My data universe is on analysis Services and I actually have measurements with “calculate” in them, would that be good related? Should I go back to an earlier version?

matdub40 If you can, I would honestly. I've seen nothing but problems with Feb 2025.

I went back several versions and I still had the problem, either the window to save the csv never appears or it displays another window on my computer.
I reinstalled version 2.138.782.0 and now everything works fine.
