Hello community,
I am trying to build the following report in Power BI, but so far was not able to locate if the x axis can contain two fields, both visible and in that case, grouped by a date field (monthly when I choose partcilurat year from the slicer). I tried searching for some custom visualizations with shared axis that can group it like that, but could not locate one.
Would like the end result to look exaclty like this:
Both Business Unit (text) field and the date field are located in the same table.
Would appreciate some feedback. 🙂
Solved! Go to Solution.
The key to that is to put both fields on the x axis, drill down to next level in the hierarchy, sort by the x axis fields in the visual, and turn off Concatenate Labels on the x axis.

Furthermore, if your chart visual is already sorted by x-axis fields, you will need to remove the sorting and then add again.
Thank you for the assistance. Got it working 🙂
