Power BI Desktop Report Server Jan 2025 bug existing measures

We recently upgraded Report Server and Power Bi Desktop for report server to latest Jan 2025 version. On report server all existing reports display fine but when rendering on desktop, dax measures specifically with a filter on text show errors, "Error fetching data for this visual. An unexpected exception occurred". Is this a known bug with Jan 2025 desktop version for report server?

Hi @Zpg0101,

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Fabric Community Forum.

This is a known issue with the January 2025 version of Power BI Desktop for Report Server, particularly related to DAX measures that involve filters on text fields. Microsoft is aware of this behavior, and several users have reported similar problems when rendering reports in the updated desktop version.

For those with same issue, turns out the 32bit version was the issue, works on 64bit version of desktop.
