According to the following link you cannot modify the report.json file.  What is the timeframe for allowing modifications?  Is there a beta program in which I can test this functionality?

Thx, from what I can see this tool reads the report definition.  I'm looking to modify the report definition.

you can modify that and then repackage the .pbix .  Just don't expect MS to care about you when they change the structure again.

I agree with the point about the structure will change.  I did read where they will change the structure of the report json when they support modifying it.  So my question was to figure out how long I had to wait for this so I can plan accordingly.

Go to one of their conferences and ask them. In the old days becoming a Super User also helped because it gave better access to the product team. Sadly, those days are gone.

Primarily the config sections within the visual containers section.
