Hi Guys,
I am finding an issue with the May 2019 Update for Power BI Desktop. I am finding the performance terrible and Power BI seems to constantly increases its memory usage. The data I am loading is from a single Excel Workbook with 14 Spreadsheets. There is not that much data contained within the spreadsheets. I have modelled the data in the query editor abut when I attempt to use DAX to create a couple of calculated columns, Power BI increases the memory use and just continues until al memory is used.
I tried this on my work PC (i5 / 8G RAM) and my Home PC (i7 / 16G RAM).
I have not had this issue with the same set of data before, it only seemed to occur after the latest update.
Anyone have any ideas? 🙂
HI, @PaulofMelbourne
It works well in my PC and my colleague's computer.
Could you try to uninstall and reinstall the latest version.
Version: 2.69.5467.2151 64-bit (May 2019)
