Potential Bug in Power BI Desktop (2.144.878.0 – June 2025): Report pages disappear after loading

When opening previously created Power BI reports in version 2.144.878.0 (64-bit, June 2025), all report pages initially appear for a few seconds — then abruptly disappear. The report resets visually, leaving only a blank Page 1, as if the file were new. However, the original dataset and fields remain visible in the Fields pane.
This behavior occurs across multiple files, even newly created ones. Notably, if I open a blank file first, then navigate to the affected report using File > Open, the report loads correctly and retains all its pages.
Version:
Power BI Desktop 2.144.878.0 (64-bit, June 2025)
Troubleshooting steps already attempted:
• Performed full uninstall and reinstall of Power BI
Outcome:
The issue persists across all tested scenarios, except when opening the report from an already open blank file.
Request:
Could the Power BI team investigate whether this is a known issue in the June 2025 build? If so, is there a scheduled fix, or a recommended workaround?

Hi @AlainL17 , Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Community Forum.

Since the dataset remains visible and the issue resolves when opening the file from an already open blank report, this points to a canvas rendering bug, not file corruption. Your workaround is currently the most stable fix. I suggest raising a Microsoft Fabric support ticket to fix the issue.

I haven't experienced this but in the modeling view, if  i view a DAX formula and move to another measure/column/table, that DAX formula stays in the view and won't disappear until the pbix is re-opened.
