Hi All,
I am using direct query. I have used parameters where client will enter some random ID's to check the repective values.
Now I have some ID's which doesn't contain any data. Now i want a pop up if client enter those id's which doesn't contains any data and that pop up should show that "this id doesn't contain any data" and the rest of the ID's which have data should show its respective values.
Is it possible?
Thanks in Advance

Hi @Anonymous,
At first, current power bi not able to show the window to notice some selected items that do not exist correspond records.
For your scenario, I'd like to suggest you create a measure formula to compare with table records and selection value to display the not matched selections.
After these steps, you can use this measure on a card that named not contains records ids to display them.

Hi @v-shex-msft @mahoneypat ,
Yes we can achieve that in card with the suggetions which you have provided. But Actually I would like to have the current power bi to show the window to notice some selected items that do not exist correspond records.
And the reply from @v-shex-msft it seems like Power BI Doesn't have that ability as of now.
Thanks for your Suggestions.

You could make a measure like this
PopUp = IF(ISBLANK([YourMeasure]), "This ID doesn't have any data")
Then put that measure in a card visual. When there are data, it will be blank. When no data, that message will appear in the card.
If this works for you, please mark it as the solution. Kudos are appreciated too. Please let me know if not.

Pat

Hi @amitchandak ,
When i say Pop up i meant to a "Notification" kind of thing which we get while filling or submitting some random forms.
