Personalization Questions

1) When personalization is enabled, the matrix visual is limited to a maximum of 100 columns. Is there any way around that? Is there a way to filter within the matrix (without having to add an extra slicer?)

2) Is there any any way to pin the Personalize Box so it doesn't go away?

Hi @peterknowlton

The maximum number of columns in a matrix is 100, and the best way to do this is to use slicers for dynamic filtering, or you can create measures and use relevant filter functions in the measure to filter, such as the filter() function, you can refer to the following link.

powerbi - Power BI - Matrix with limited number of columns - Stack Overflow

Solved: Limit on the number of columns in Table and Matrix... - Microsoft Power BI Community

2) Is there any any way to pin the Personalize Box so it doesn't go away?

After testing, the box cannot be pinned, when you need to personalize the visual, click the icon, it will appear, by default, it will be hidden.
