How to show last 6 months of invoices when a report is opened?

I have PBI desktop v March 2023.

I have a tab in a PBI report with invoices. Each invoice has an invoice date. When the report is opened by the user I would like the default invoice date filter to be from 6 months ago through today. How do I do that? 

As an alternative, how do I make a button that would do that?

You can try the following methods. 

Sample data:

Measure = IF(SELECTEDVALUE('Table'[Date])>=EDATE(TODAY(),-6)&&SELECTEDVALUE('Table'[Date])<=TODAY(),1,0)
