Hi,
I am a new user to the Power BI. I would like to have more knowledge on the permissions set for the users.
I have a data sheet shared with my colleague and set to Read only permissions. However he is able to read and export the data. I do not want him/her to export the data but to only read the data as view.
Also, note that i do not have the admin previliges to set the data share off in manage settings (admin portal).
Kindly allow me to understand if there is any other option?
Thanks,
HI @kstejaswini,
Unfortunately, current you can only setting this permission on admin portal, maybe you can consider to contact to your admin for this requirement.
BTW, read permission means viewer can't edit shared contents, but they still have permissions to export data from visual options.
