Performance issues with Power BI dataset in Report Builder

Hello,

I have a Power BI dataset that I'm using in Power BI Report Builder (dataset only has imported data - no direct queries).

I have not problems with performance with such dataset in standard Power Bi  reports or if I analyse the query in DAX Studio (published and unpublished reports no issues at all), but when I use the same dataset / query in report builder the performance is really poor, even after i published the report, like we go from 5 seconds to 50.

Is this a known problem and if so what is the reason?

Can we do anything to improve the performance in Power BI Report Builder?

@Anonymous , is it using one premise gateway. If so please check the performance for that.

Check for hardware, RAM, and network speed

No the Power Bi dataset it's using an Azure DB to get the data from (and is actually only one table at the moment).

After the data is imported/refreshed, standard PBI reports are very responsive , as expected, but Power Bi Report Builder reports are not .
