Passing Variables without linking table

Hi All,

I have two datasets like Calendar and Contracts data , i am not linking these two tables.

 

If i select data in FYyear column in calendar table, i want to pass the varaible of start date(Calendar table) and end date(Calendar table) on contracts table to check anything pass on that start end and end date.

In below image, i am highlighted yhe filter color and expected out output. Please help me.

You may create a measure like below to get if the constracts' start date and end date are between the selected FY20NN's start date and end date.

Measure =
IF (
    HASONEVALUE ( 'Calendar'[FYYear] ),
    CALCULATE (
        COUNTROWS ( data ),
        FILTER (
            data,
            data[Start date] >= MAX ( 'Calendar'[Start date] )
                && data[End date] <= MAX ( 'Calendar'[End date] )
        )
    )
)
