I have some reports built with report builder which need to be filtered by the same values the user selects in Power BI. I know that we can pass those parameters in a url by repeating the parameter name and each value separately, but I can't figure out how to actually build that url.
So for example if I have a slicer and the user selects "product 1" and "product 2" from a slicer on products, how do I build that url? Currently I'm using a calculated column on that table which basically says "url = "https://urlgoeshere?rp:product=" & prodcuts[product 1].
That works great, but I need to have it be: "url = "https://urlgoeshere?rp:product=" & prodcuts[product 1] & "&rp:products=" & products[product 2]
Thanks!
Hi @Anonymous ,
You could refer to this blog

Thank you for this reply, but unfortunatley that article doesn't explain what needs to be done here. It seems like someone must have found a solution to this, I'll keep looking and hoping. I can't imagine there aren't others who need to call a paginated report from PBI with multi-select parameters.
