To

GENERATESERIES(1, max([total_sales]),10 )

base filter slicer as date not changing max value ?

its remain with the first value the paramter need to creater

@ben2298 not sure if I fully followed your question but I guess this is what you are looking for:

 GENERATESERIES(1, CALCULATE( max(Table[total_sales]), ALL ( Table ) ), 10 )
