Parameters functionality in Power Query

Hi All, 

 

PBI desktop April '16 release has "Parameters" functionality. 

How can i implement Parameter functionality in power query to filter data from a Table.

What is the benefit. 

How can i reference to Single Table for Data refresh.

 

I have never used "Parameters" before in Excel power query . Thanks
