Hi,
I have created a .rdl file using Power BI Report Builder. The .rdl contains three parameters, two of type string and one of type integer. When I attempt to embed this .rdl within my .pbix file via the new paginated report visual the mappings configure with no errors but the .rdl will not load with the error "the value provided for the report parameter 'parameter of type integer' is not valid for its type". On the Power BI side the column I am using for the slicer is of type decimal, can an integer on the .rdl side not map to a decimal on the Power BI side? Unfortunately, report builder doesn't have a decimal type option, only integer.
Thanks.
Hi, @powerbi_jenhen
Have you tried to change the float data type?
You can also choose not to map

@powerbi_jenhen , Can you make it has the whole number in the power bi dataset?
whole number doesn't work for the .rdl integer type either, I've also change integer on the .rdl side to float with no luck
