Pages in a report moved to a list in the app

Hi,

When coming back from holiday i found that there has been an new layout in the app. When clicking on a report in an app all pages was visualised in the bottom of the report. As in excel with worksheets. Now (in the app only) all pages and reports is listed in the left regardless of which report and page you are in to wich gives a very blurry behavior. In the desktop were I develop i have the old setup and also in the workarea but when publishing it the layout changes. And now all users is confused. How can I publish and keep the old design?

Please guide.

Hi,

I found it. When you publish a an app from workspace so in the second step there is a section called navigation and below that there is a possibillity to publish in old design. It seems that you need to check this every time you publish since this default position is new design.

HI @Mstrande ,

You can change 'new look on'(top right corner) option to switch power bi service layout between old and new versions.

Hi, thanks for the comment.

The thing is that I get the old design in the desktop program. Then I publish to the workspace on app.powerbi.com. There I also have the old design. But when I publish to the app area I get the new desig regardless wich setting I have made. So my problem is that I want to preset the old design for all users in the app.

Hi,

I really need some help here. All users is confused.

Doing some further research it seems to have with the dashbord (instrumentpanel) to do. If I have a dashboard I cannot swith between old and new layout. Is there anyone that has the same issue.

The problem with the new layout is that the list covers all pages in all reports and people get confused in wich report they are looking in.

Hi,

I cannot change between old and new layout due to that I have an desktop. Is there someone else having the same problem?

Hi,

I dont seem to get any answers so I try with a picture. Please se picture below. Before new design in app mode was released I had a dashboard that made it easy to pic an report. And then all pages was displayed as worksheets in excel. Now there is an expandable list in the left side regardless if I select new or old design. This list appears dont dissapear either if I selct an report. The list is no good since users mix reports up.  They scroll up and down and pic different pages and get confused when the end up in antother report.

Please guide how I can come back to the old design with my dashboard and reorts with same layout as excel sheets.
