Hi all,
I have an interesting question regarding Relative date filtering, when I want to filter dates in the last calendar week, my week starts from Sunday and ends on Saturday, but I want my weeks to start from Monday and end on Sunday. Here is the picture from the Power BI:
I already checked my Regional settings for Windows, and week starting day is Monday (I wanted to check because I thought PBI is connecting to my Windows regional settings):
Is there any way I could change this in PBI?
Thanks in advance!
Hi @DJOXXXA ,
Based on my test, I find that when you change the start week in region setting which could't affect the start week of powerbi(I use weekday() function to check it, and it still use default week setting). You could refer to WEEKDAY for details. In addition, in the relative filter, if you choose last 1 week, it will return previous 7 days of today, so you can't control the first day to be Monday when today is not Monday.
By the way, if possible, you could try to inform me more detailed information(such as your expected output and your sample data). Then I will help you more correctly.

Thanks for your understanding and support.

@dax Hi Zoe,
Thank you very much for the detailed response. Unfortunately, I have found on the various other forums that users cant control which day is first day of the week when users select Last Calendar Week in Relative date filtering (There is an idea, and I voted for it).
So, I have found a workaround solution:
1) I have created a calculated column "Date Adjusted" in my Calendar table, which is basically Calendar[Date] - 1
2) I have set up the new calculated column to be basis for Relative Date Filtering, and now I have situation like this:
Now, as you can see, the filter sees the filtered dates as from 1/26/2020 until 2/1/2020, which is from Sunday to Saturday (but it is not what I need), but the actual data shown in the report is 1/27/2020 until 2/2/2020 (in the table above the report), which are the correct dates for my report.
