PC spec?

For Power BI Desktop the specs that I have found so far are quite scanty just stating the OS.  No info on RAM or Processor.

My assumption for the role of Power BI Desktop that one should get as much Ram/Processor as the budget will allow - but I wonder as to the ratio of those to the quantity of rows/records it can reasonably process.

Also that the x64 install is appropriate.

Any rule of thumb specifications out there in the real world?

Have you checked out this thread in the community? It's a year old, but probably still relevant as far as minimum requirements.
