PBI Subscription save to onedrive do not overwrite existing files

Hi PBI Community

We have set up a report subscription that saves an excel file to sharepoint folder, it's been creating a new version each time the subscription is run, eg File 1, File 2, File 3,

Is there a way to overwrite the existing file instead?

Many thanks

Did you find a solution for this?

Same issue. I  was so glad that this function appeared, and I don't need to create flows to intercept attachments. But it`s also not overwriting a file for me.

If I understand you correctly  and you are using Power Automate.

Please refer to the linked blog post:

Hi

Thanks for your reply. No I was referring to the subscription from the Power BI service. There's a new feature to save the report output to onedrive/sharepoint.
